Following the Government announcement on 23 rd November 2020 regarding the lifting of the latest Lockdown in England, massage therapists are once again able to return to work from the 3rd December 2020, with certain restrictions / conditions in place. Subject to any local restrictions which may dictate otherwise, I am looking forward to a return to The Granary Clinic in Avebury Trusloe from Saturday 5 th December 2020 and to The Henge Shop from Tuesday 8 th December.

The guidelines issued by the UK government for those working in ‘Close Contact Services’ are very detailed and constantly being updated to reflect the ever changing situation. These should provide reassurance to both clients and practitioners that our amazing industry is as safe as it can be during a global health pandemic.
In addition, our professional body, The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), has been keeping therapists up to date with what the guidance means in practice and what we need to do in order to meet the legal requirements around COVID19 safety.

Check out the links below if you would like more info on either the UK Government guidance or that issued by the FHT

As a result, all our Risk Assessments have been reviewed regularly and some of our already robust and rigorous processes have been adjusted again to meet with new requirements as these have been introduced. Details of these can be found by clicking the links below. These vary from venue to venue so please check the processes for the clinic you are attending prior to your appointment.

Appointments at the Granary Clinic will resume from Saturday 5th December.
More information about the new process there can be found HERE
Appointments at the Henge Shop will resume from Tuesday 8th December.

Appointments at Amanda Marsh Physio clinic and at Becky Tolputt’s Clinic have been suspended for the time being.

Keep an eye on my social media channels for more info and news of what’s happening at your nearest clinic. I’m very much looking forward to seeing all my lovely existing clients again and to welcoming some new ones in due course.

What have we been up to…..?

I am happy to say that as well as the 4 COVID-19 related courses that I completed during the first lockdown, I have also now completed an Emergency First Aid at Work course (EFAW) and continued to update my skills and knowledge with a range of online learning opportunities both COVID-19 and non COVID-19 related.

If you’ve been following TTHolistics on Facebook and Instagram you’ll know that Tamara is now offering personalised Aromatherapy blends for sale to clients old and new! These are individually blended oils which are made specifically for each client’s needs and circumstances. They’re available following completion of a health and wellbeing questionnaire and all come with a free lavender related gift (while stocks last!)

Sewing scrubs continues with some amazing Rainbow Scrubs made from fabric designed by Noah Evans and donated to our ‘For the love of scrubs’ hub. All the off cuts from the scrubs are now being turned into face masks which are available locally for a suggested donation of £3 with 50% of this going to Tamara’s chosen charity of 2020 – Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
